I'm a software engineer with a background in Computer Science, focused on AI/ML systems, full stack development, and mobile engineering.
From designing emotionally-aware AI for humanoid robots to building fintech infrastructure handling thousands of transactions monthly, I work across the entire stack — models to microservices, APIs to Android apps.
My work is rooted in a belief that technology should solve real problems for real people, especially across Africa. Smart Nyuki, my flagship project, was recognised as Top 4 National Innovation by Kenya's Ministry of ICT.
I'm fluent in Kiswahili and English — and I bring that cross-cultural thinking into everything I build.

Mobile
Mobile is a core discipline, not a footnote. I build native Android apps with Kotlin + Jetpack Compose for robotics interfaces, and cross-platform solutions with Flutter for fintech and property platforms — all optimised for African connectivity conditions.
Built the full tenant-facing app covering property exploration, map-based search, unit booking, moving-in workflows, and KYC verification — integrated with M-Pesa and GIS mapping for Nairobi wards.
Built the field-engineer app with offline-capable task management, assigned job receiving and completion, media uploads with progress tracking, and automatic data sync on reconnection — fully operational without connectivity.
CodeBuddy: native Android app for Pepper robot's tablet delivering gesture-synced, speech-enabled coding lessons for young learners, achieving a 30% engagement boost in pilot classrooms.
